well...i must say...good analysis being done here....but all of this has no use....unless u have had a first person experience at all the colleges,u really can't compare them......If I have some of these 'good' colleges(barring IITs) to chose beteween....I would chose the one nearest to the place I stay....Others may have different criteria.....but it really doesn't matter....when it comes to these 'top' colleges, it all depends on the student....that is,what he gets comes down to what he does there,irrespesctive oif the college ranking......
