CBSE Schools Abroad

CBSE or Central Board of Secondary Education is the central body to conduct the secondary and senior secondary school examinations in India. There are more than 5000 schools affiliated to CBSE in India and abroad. CBSE also prepares syllabus for the schools affiliated to it. It has earned a distinguished credit for providing common education to the Indian land and overseas without compromising on the quality of education. The most admired feature of the CBSE has been to introduce the courses that are relevant and go in sync with the advancement of the time.

CBSE is one of the widely recognized boards of school education, imparting a common education in this diversified world. Most of the Indian schools abroad adopt the CBSE pattern of education. The most recognized board across the country it helps students in case they have to migrate to a different country without interrupting their studies. Imparting education through common subjects and common books enable the students to Carry their studies without much hassle.

Most entrance exams are also based on the CBSE pattern which enables students to crack them proficiently. CBSE also conducts major exams like AIPMT and AIEEE ever year. AIEEE (ALL INDIA ENGINEERING ENTRANCE EXAMINATION) has its examination centers distributed all over India but now it is also conducted outside India like Dubai. So, it must be a privilege to the students studying outside India through CBSE pattern to appear for these entrance exams in their near by centers in an easy manner. In this way CBSE is trying to give more convenience to all students under their board of studies all over the world.

Taking a significant move, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to introduce online registration system for its affiliated schools located outside India. From 2008 onwards all affiliated schools outside the countries can apply online which will ensure accuracy and timely receipt in India. –

The CBSE affiliated schools in other countries were earlier facing a lot of difficulties in registering their students. They had to send applications by post which was time taking. Again compiling the data and issuing the admit cards were also being delayed as the applications took a lot of time to reach its destination.

Elaborating the process of online registration, a CBSE official said, "schools need to log on to CBSE's official website www.cbse.nic.in and enter the CBSE affiliation number as user-id and school code as the password. Once the correct inputs are fed, the system will display the school name and school's e-mail id available with the board. After seeing the school name, the user can click 'proceed' button to start entering the data. Once the data is entered, one needs to click on the submit button to save." –

As many as 2,200 students are appearing in Dubai for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) examinations. There are over 110 schools affiliated to the CBSE in the Gulf countries of which 52 are in the UAE.–
